Real Estate Agents

Hundreds of companies offer postcards for real estate agents. But, which company is the best fit for you and your UNIQUE direct mail needs?

Do you need a company that can do EVEYRTHING for you from start to finish?

Do you sometimes need a short-run print on a particular postcard?

Do you prefer custom-designed real estate marketing post cards that are unique to you (instead of the prepackaged stuff)?

Do you need a real estate post cards printer that also provides full mailing house services?

My Kelly Recommends list of postcards for real estate agents is here to save you time, effort, and money. I compiled this list from both my personal experiences with real estate post cards vendors, PLUS recommendations from some of the top real estate marketing professionals I know.

If you find this list of good value, please

Turn-key Real Estate Post Cards

SHARPERAGENT.COM
This real estate marketing post cards provider offers the busy real estate agent a highly simplified approach to post card marketing.

Favorite Features of Sharper Agent:
  • Over a thousand attractive, professionally designed real estate post cards templates. Sharper Agent continually adds new designs and campaign themes to their product offerings. This ensures you will always have something fresh and new to send out to your database.
  • They have a team of in-house design assistants who can customize the cards for you for a modest, additional fee.
  • Their postcards can also be sent out via email. If email marketing is part of your marketing strategy, this can be a great bonus.
  • Free webinars and training on how to use their website to design and order post cards.
  • Will handle the mailing of your cards for you. Note: They outsource their printing to Express Copy, a top notch third party provider.

Least Favorite Features of Sharper Agent:

  • Too polished of a look. Their predesigned cards are pretty and very professional looking. However, I am of the opinion of that flashy, polished post cards do not sell as well as post cards that convey personality and agent style.
  • Canned content. Some of the cards offer tips that are pretty hokey or overly simplistic. The problem of canned content is pretty common throughout the industry, reflects poorly on the professionals using them, and is often why many agents will hire me to develop custom content for their cards.

Full Service Printer and Mail House

EXPRESSCOPY.COM
This post card provider is full-service and top quality, and is currently my post card printer of choice. Because I use them to print the post cards for multiple real estate agents every month, I can relay my personal experiences with them:

My favorite features of ExpressCopy.com:

  • One-on-one training for using their online design and post card ordering website.
  • Many attractive, professional, easy-to-use post card templates from which you can choose to design your own cards.
  • Competitive prices. Their full-service mailing prices are hard to beat. (This includes: full-color printing on both sides of the card, addressing of the cards, delivering the cards to post office.)
  • Lamination of the card to make it stand out from the clutter.
  • High quality printing. In my opinion, nothing looks worse than cheap color and print quality on postcards for real estate agents.
  • Full mailing list services (ExpressCopy was recently purchased by InfoUSA - one of the largest mailing list providers in the country)
  • Consistent turnaround times. This makes it easy for me to time orders so that the cards will hit mailboxes around the intended arrival dates.
  • Easy online ordering for BOTH custom-designed cards (I use Publisher to design my clients' cards and then convert these files to a PDF before uploading them to the Express Copy website) AND Express Copy template-designed cards.
  • Excellent customer service and rapid problem resolution.

My Least Favorite Features of ExpressCopy.com:

  • Minor discolorations. Over the long run, their color process has been pretty consistent. However, I've seen some minor color variations cropping up over the last couple of months...but, those variations have been nothing to write home about.
  • Hmmmm....beyond the above issue, I can honestly say that I have never felt a need to complain about anything ExpressCopy.com offers. They have consistently been a pleasurable vendor with whom to do business.

An Alternative to ExpressCopy.com
Several of my real estate industry colleagues have used QuantumMail.com with good success. QuantumMail.com's products and services seem to be comparable in both quality and price to ExpressCopy.com. So, they would likely be worth checking out if ExpressCopy.com falls short on your needs or expectations.

Inexpensive Postcards

EXPRESSCOPY.COM
Several colleagues in my industry found Vistaprint.com to be a really affordable printer. However, when I price compared them to ExpressCopy.com, Vistaprint.com always came out the loser. Add to this my experience that ExpressCopy.com's customer service and shipping time is FAR SUPERIOR and FASTER than Vistaprint.com's, and the choice becomes clear. ExpressCopy.com gets my vote for postcards for real estate agents!

Small Print Runs on Postcards for Real Estate Agents

I rarely do small print runs (less than 100 postcards) for clients. However, I wanted to share the following list of providers who can likely fill your request:
  1. MyPostcardCompany.com
  2. VistaPrint.com (Beware: There is a BUZZ going around that VistaPrint.com has recently begun some underhanded practices by automatically signing you up for expensive monthly programs. It seems there are lots of little boxes you have to UNcheck when you place an order, or you will soon see unexpected $14.95 charges hitting your credit card every month. What a headache! I may remove them entirely from this list JUST for that very reason. For now, I will publicize this BAD BUSINESS practice!)
  3. ExpressCopy.com (depends on size, quantity, and price for the order)
  4. QuantumMail.com
